We have been busy little beavers around here the last couple of days! All of the sudden, I feel the need to clean and organize everything. And no, I'm not pregnant. :) I guess it's just that time of year! Lucky for me, I have a very helpful toddler who loves to help me clean. He is his mother's son. :) We started yesterday with giving the porch a good cleaning. I love the complex we live in because it's all Talbot families. Little Landon across the way yelled, "Noah, what are you doing?!" (I'm quite certain all my neighbors were saying the same thing to themselves...) To which he replied, "I'm scrubbing!" I was dying. After we finished scrubbing, we pruned and fertilized the flowers. Then Noah helped me with the laundry. We washed ALL of Sophie's crib bedding because Andrew and I are planning on moving her into Noah's room next week. Noah is thrilled that "sissy" is going to be sleeping with him. We'll see how long that lasts...lol. All I know is that it is time to reclaim our bedroom! I can't wait to be able to sit and read in my bed at night again. It feels like it's been months since I've picked up a book. Five and a half months to be exact. It's probably going to be a long week. Did I mention Noah is also giving up his paci (a.k.a. his best friend in the whole world) next week? It's high time! We're all about the transitions right now. I've got a plan, and I hope it works! More on that later. :) Also, I started giving Sophie solids a couple of days ago! I was dreading having to complicate my life a little more, but I couldn't deny how ready she was. We've just started with a little watery rice cereal and she LOVES it. I'm hoping to make all my own baby food again this time around, but we'll see how that goes. I am in love my food book! I'm all about the books. It's called Super Baby Food. Even if you're not going to make you're own baby food, I highly suggest it! A good friend recommended it to me a couple years back and I fell in love. I went everywhere with it for a long, long time. :)
